Brujeria is a Spanish term that refers to witchcraft or sorcery. In Cuban culture, brujeria is often associated with Afro-Cuban religions such as Santeria, which incorporates elements of Catholicism and African spirituality.

Practitioners of brujeria, known as “brujos” or “brujas”, may use various rituals, spells, and charms to achieve their desired outcomes. These may include offerings to deities or spirits, the use of herbs and other natural remedies, and divination practices such as reading tarot cards or casting shells.

In Cuban society, brujeria is often viewed with a mix of fear and fascination. While some people believe in the power of brujeria and seek out practitioners for help with various problems, others see it as a form of superstition or even as a threat to their own religious beliefs.

It’s worth noting that brujeria should not be confused with harmful or malevolent practices such as black magic or curses. While there are certainly individuals who use brujeria for negative purposes, the vast majority of practitioners use it for positive outcomes such as healing, protection, and prosperity.
